Samuel Uzoigwe,CIPM
Samuel Uzoigwe is a seasoned data privacy and protection attorney and International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM). He is also a OneTrust Certified Privacy Professional with experience creating data privacy governance programs for data controllers and processors. Prior to joining the firm, he functioned as in-house technology law fellow at the Wikimedia Foundation (Wikipedia’s parent company) where he was on the data privacy and protection, AI, Intellectual property and Contracts team.
He is a Certified Artificial Intelligence Research Fellow having obtained his AI Policy certification from the Center for AI and Digital Policy (Washington) with distinction, and is an alumnus of the Clinton Global Initiative University. He is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and also a data privacy law country contributor for Spain, France and Italy on the GDPRHub (data privacy decisions) platform hosted by the NOYB (Austria).
